NYSP and Clayton Fire Boat 1 Rescue Training...

 

EVOC...

Clayton and neighboring departments engaged in an EVOC course at the Clayton Fire Hall.  The class was two days, Saturday and Sunday the 27th and 28th of this month, January.  The class was offered by Utica National Insurance co.  In addition to Clayton, other departments that were represented in the class were Dexter, Chaumont, Depauville, and Fishers Landing.   The Ladies Auxiliary provided a full meal for the participants on Saturday afternoon.  Our thanks and appreciation goes out to the members of the auxiliary that took part, it was "delicious."

Ladder Operations Training

Clayton firefighters shown participating in a department sponsored Ladder Operations Training class. Members practiced their skills in setting up the ladder tower and the water tower operations


Ice Rescue Drill

This is a session that was organized by Dr. Withington with assistance from the STAR Team Divers and J. Lewis with his Hovercraft.

 


Controlled Burn

These were taken during a controlled burn. Clayton and the surrounding departments Trained with the Ladder truck at the old barn. First row of pictures show the burn after 5 minutes, 11 minutes, 12 minutes and 14 minutes. 2nd row shows the fire as seen through a thermal imaging camera.

 


Cape Vincent Correctional Facility
